C'mon in

 

This is a cooperative project with Pricerite, a local furniture company. This project is going to design furniture devices for home aloner, aged 25-45, and aim to improve their gathering environment when they invite friends to home so as to enhance their quality of life & their self-esteem in a certain extent.

 

Pricerite is the largest home furnishing and accessories store in Hong Kong. With the brand's aspiration to "living smart", its stores offer home furnishing solutions to meet customers' needs. Through its extensive store network, an abundant supply of furniture, home essentials and appliances, as well as audio-video products are made available to its customers.

 

From the secondary interviews conducted for collecting the feedback about our design, people have concern about the space-taken by the whole transformation and complicity in movement. On the aspect of styling, they like the material and finishing choice, but have different ideas on the color and hopes to choose the color by their preferences. Focusing on the sofa function, interviewees really like the sofa, bench, and multifunction (3 in 1). They agree that by purchasing it can provide more comfortable place for guest to seat, giving them the feeling of hospitality, and saving space in daily use.

 

For the WorkNSwing, people are agreed that it helps maintain the work life balancing. Most of them really find the swing chair fun and create different experience at home. Base on the styling, the color choice are also being dislike by some of them and require to have own choice of color. On the other hand, people are concerned about the safety issue created by the movement when people are on the swing swinging. Focusing on the function of the table, they want the flexible and more work desk, which can hiding up mess when friends come or other special situation.
